Rider Killed in Collision Near Knights Ferry
Stanislaus County, CA (August 24, 2022) – One person died following a traffic accident that occurred on Highway 120 Monday night, the Modesto Bee News reported.
Officials said a 67-year-old man was riding a Harley-Davidson heading west on SR-210. When the motorcyclist approached the area near Knights Ferry, he crashed into a Chevrolet Silverado traveling north on Rushing Hill Lookout Road.
Deadly Motorcycle Accident on Highway 120 in Stanislaus County
Our sources indicated the crash resulted in life-threatening injuries to the rider. When paramedics arrived, they sadly pronounced the motorcyclist dead. The identity of the fatal victim remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver of the Silverado involved in the wreck.
Investigators handling the case stayed at the scene the whole evening. They continue to work to determine exactly how and why the collision happened on Highway 120 in Stanislaus County.
