RIVERSIDE, California (June 30, 2014) – Motorcyclist Stanley McAlexander, 66, of Riverside was killed early Thursday when the driver of an SUV made a left-hand turn in front of him in the 700 block of Blaine Street, according to a press release by the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner.
The 5:30 a.m. crash took place when the driver of the SUV attempted to make a left-hand turn into a shopping center. McAlexander was unable to stop and crashed into the vehicle.
Paramedics responded to the collision and McAlexander was transported to a Riverside Community Hospital, however, he did not survive. He was pronounced dead at 6:19 a.m. No one else was injured in the crash.
