Man Killed in Car Accident on Katella Ave
STANTON, California (Sept. 20, 2017) — A man was struck and killed by a car Tuesday night as he attempted to cross Katella Avenue, according to the Orange County Sheriff Coroner.
The fatal crash was reported about 7:19 p.m. at 8412 Katella Avenue, near Dale Avenue.
Paramedics responded to help the victim and transported him to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, but he later died of his injuries at 7:54 a.m.
Police say the driver of the vehicle stopped and was cooperative with authorities who are investigating what happened.
