Steve Long Crisp, 52, Killed in Crash at Planz Road and McCourry Street Wednesday
Bakersfield, CA (November 25, 2020) – A motorcycle rider died following a traffic collision in the area of Planz Road and McCourry Street Wednesday afternoon.
According to an article published online by KGET News 52-year-old Steve Long Crisp was riding a motorcycle heading east on Planz Road. The motorcyclist drove into the intersection at McCourry Street at about the same time as a passenger vehicle. Officials mentioned the car made a turn onto westbound Planz Road from McCourry Street.
The two motorists collided at the Bakersfield intersection around 12:50 p.m.

When rescue teams arrived at the location, they immediately checked the condition of Crisp. Paramedics sadly pronounced the motorcycle rider dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the driver of the passenger vehicle.
Detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate at this time to determine exactly what happened here and why.
