Fatal Collision Involving E-Bike Rider in Cabazon

CABAZON, CA (March 10, 2025) – Steve Deleon, 59, of Whittier, died in a bicycle accident early Sunday morning on Seminole Drive, just east of Millard Pass Road in Cabazon.

The traffic accident occurred at an unknown hour on March 9th, resulting in the death of a bicyclist, according to the Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner report.

The collision between a vehicle and the victim’s e-bike took place on Seminole Drive, though details surrounding the incident remain limited at this time.

Local authorities responded to the scene of the collision and the man’s death was confirmed at 1:50 a.m. on Sunday.

The identity of the bicyclist was released by the coroner’s office as Steve Deleon.

The California Highway Patrol – San Gorgonio Office is handling the investigation.
