Steven Archuleta, 64, Killed in Victorville Hit-and-Run at Seventh and Sage Streets
VICTORVILLE (July 11, 2018) – A pedestrian was killed after an alleged hit-and-run accident in the area of Seventh and East Sage streets on July 6, according to The Daily Press and Victor Valley News.
San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department identified the victim as 64-year-old Steven Russell Archuleta, a Victorville transient.
As per the reports, officials said Archuleta was apparently walking across 7th Street when he was struck by a motorist that was headed north at the time. The collision occurred near the intersection on Friday night last week.

Archuleta reportedly flipped up and over the car, and ultimately landed in the middle of the roadway. He was airlifted to Victor Valley Global Medical Center here he later died.
Meanwhile, deputies affirmed that the driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled north. The suspect vehicle was described as a silver over black, 2005 Ford Taurus with possible front-end damage and a missing passenger side mirror.
