Steven Barnes, 69, Killed in Fremont Crash at Paseo Padre and Mowry
FREMONT, CA (May 4, 2023) – Steven Barnes was killed after a crash at Paseo Padre Parkway and Mowry Avenue in Fremont.
The coroner’s office identified the 69-year-old Fremont man as the victim in the fatal wreck which took place on Monday.
The incident happened when Steven Barnes was riding a vehicle which collided with two others in Fremont. The cars crashed at the intersection of Paseo Padre Parkway and Mowry Avenue.
Multiple Vehicles Collide
The East Bay Times wrote that the collision occurred on May 1 shortly after 1:15 p.m. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
Crews found Steven Barnes who ended up unresponsive inside his vehicle as a result of the crash. He sustained serious injuries following the accident.
Medical personnel rushed the patient to a hospital, where he soon died. Meanwhile, the report added that the drivers of the other two vehicles stopped and stayed at the site after the wreck.
