Steven Bishop, 52, Seriously Injured in Crash at Highway 121 and Wagner Road
SONOMA COUNTY, CA (December 25, 2020) – A fatal crash seriously injured Steven Bishop at Highway 121 and Wagner Road in Sonoma County.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 52-year-old Santa Rosa man as the victim of the accident on Thursday morning.
The incident happened when Steven Bishop was driving a white 2010 Ford Ranger work truck north on Highway 121. The pickup is from a Hayward construction company.
At the same time, a gray 2009 Mazda sedan was trying to pass another car in the southbound lane. The Mazda then crossed the double-yellow line and collided head-on with the Ford.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and found Bishop suffering from major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed him to Queen of the Valley hospital in Napa for treatment. CHP affirmed that the driver of the sedan died following the wreck.
Meanwhile, officials forced Highway 121 to shut down in both directions after the incident. The tragic collision is still under investigation.
