Steven Dolan, 28, Killed in Moss Landing Crash on Highway 1
MOSS LANDING, CA (April 21, 2023) – Steven Dolan was killed after a motorcycle crash on Highway 1 in Moss Landing.
The California Highway Patrol identified the 28-year-old Moss Landing man as the victim in the fatal wreck which took place on Friday.
The happened when Steven Dolan was riding a 2017 Suzuki motorcycle south on Highway 1 in Moss Landing. At the same time, a 2021 Dodge Ram was going east on Pieri Court.
CHP said the pickup truck stopped at the stop-sign line to make a left turn onto north Highway 1. In the process, the Dodge began turning left in front of the motorcyclist.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
The rider then collided with the Ram and ended up ejected from his bike. The Pajaronian and KION News wrote that the collision occurred on April 21 at around 6:58 a.m.
Steven Dolan sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. Paramedics arrived at the scene and rushed him to the Natividad Medical Center, where he soon died.
The 22-year-old Porterville man driving the pickup truck did not sustain any wound following the accident. Meanwhile, officers forced Highway 1 to shut down for a time after the wreck.
The cause of the Moss Landing crash is still under investigation. Anyone with information can call the CHP at 831-770-8000.
