Steven Fonseca, 39, Victim in Pedestrian Hit-and-Run
LOCATION: Rancho Cordova
DATE OF INCIDENT: Saturday, October 27th
October 30, 2018- According to the Sacramento Sheriffs Department, Steven Fonseca, 39, of Sacramento, has been identified as the man fatally struck in a hit-and-run pedestrian collision.
Reports have indicated the collision occurred at the intersection of Sunrise Boulevard and Chrysanthy Boulevard at precisely 10:44 p.m.
Very limited details have been revealed at this time in regards to what happened or the driver of the vehicle involved who failed to stop and render aid to the victim, Mr. Fonseca.
Paramedics were quickly dispatched to the scene where paramedics provided CPR life-saving measures to save the 39-year-old man but to no avail as he was pronounced dead at the scene.
As of Tuesday morning, no additional information has been disclosed as the suspect remains at large and on the run.
