Motorcyclist Killed in Sacramento Crash Identified as Steven Hancock
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Dec. 28, 2020) — Steven Hancock has been identified as the motorcycle rider killed on Saturday, December 26th at Jefferson Boulevard and Harmon Road.
The motorcycle rider reportedly collided with a truck at the West Sacramento intersection, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner.
The collision was reported at 5:20 p.m. on Saturday, December 26th.
It’s unknown what led up to the collision between the two motorists. Hancock was rushed by ambulance to a local hospital, but unfortunately he later died of his injuries. It appears that the driver stopped after the collision and cooperated with police, but the report did not disclosed the identity of the person.
The Sacramento Police Department is heading up the investigation into liability.
The cause of the crash and liability remains under investigation. Witnesses are urged to contact police to help them determine fault for the collision.
