
SACRAMENTO, Calif. (December 9, 2022) – Steven Julio Agosto, 38, of Rancho Cordova, died in a collision at Florin Road and Watt Avenue in Sacramento.
The Sacramento County Sheriff Coroner identified the Rancho Cordova man on its website.
A second person suffered injuries in the two-vehicle crash at 7:42 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 4th, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatchers.
The drivers of a silver Toyota Corolla and a red Ford Fusion collided due to unknown circumstances at the intersection in Sacramento County.
Rollover Crash at Sacramento Intersection
CHP officials say the Ford veered off the roadway upon impact before it overturned and landed on its roof. Also, the Toyota suffered heavy damage as a result of the collision.
Firefighters and paramedics responded and found two people hurt. One person suffered critical injuries following the collision. Both people were transported by ambulances to the Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento. Sadly, Steven Agosto later died at the hospital.
Meanwhile, investigators worked to determine fault for the crash at Florin Road and Watt Avenue.
