Motorcyclist Killed in Diamond Bar Collision Identified
DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (August 25, 2021) – Steven Klein, 51, a resident of Bullhead City, Arizona, died Saturday morning in a motorcycle crash with a big rig truck on the 57 Freeway in Diamond Bar.
The deadly collision happened about 2:46 a.m. on Saturday, August 21, just south of Diamond Bar Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The motorcyclist was traveling northbound on the Orange (57) Freeway when he allegedly made an unsafe lane change into the No. 5 lane. His 2016 Harley Davidson allegedly struck the right rear-end of the truck. That’s when he lost control and crashed into a concrete K-rail.
Steven Klein suffered major injuries and died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County coroner. The truck driver did not report any injuries.
