PERRIS, California (October 24, 2016) – A 62-year-old bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash at Navajo Road and Highway 74 (West 4th Street) early Monday morning, according to The Press Enterprise. (map)
The collision was reported at 3:30 a.m.
As per the article, coroner’s office said Steven Marsh was riding a bicycle south when he attempted to turn east.
At the same time, a dark colored sedan was going west when its driver ran a red light. The car then struck the Perris cyclist in the intersection.
Marsh was pronounced dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the motorist involved did not stop to render aid and fled the area. The suspect vehicle possibly sustained damage to its windshield and front end of the passenger side.
