Pedestrian Struck, Killed on Palmdale Highway is Identified
PALMDALE, Calif. (Feb. 6, 2024) – Steven Castillo Sanchez, 21, died Sunday morning in a pedestrian accident on Angeles Forest Highway in Palmdale.
The deadly collision occurred at around 7:25 a.m. on Feb. 4th, in the Angeles National Forest, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver struck Steven Sanchez in front of 32101 Angeles Forest Highway, just south of the Antelope Valley (14) Freeway and north of Mt. Emma Road, the CHP reported.
The circumstances leading up to the collision are unknown at this time. Also, the report did not mention if the driver stopped and cooperated with the police investigation.
