Steven Weems Arrested in Los Angeles Hit-and-Run Crash6 Hospitalized After Collision on Trinity Street

Los Angeles, CA (November 13, 2022) – Police arrested 23-year-old Steven Weems following an alleged hit-and-run crash that occurred in the area of Trinity Street and East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

The FOX11 News reported Weems was behind the wheel of a white Porsche Cayenne driving in South Los Angeles Saturday night. For reasons still unknown, on-duty police officers tried to pull over Weems near East 36th. Our sources mentioned the driver of the Porsche failed to yield, and took off at a high rate of speed.

According to the article published online, Weems possibly lost control of the vehicle and ended up plowing through a carnival in the 3000 block of South Trinity Street. The Porsche hit as many as six people walking along the carnival setup on the street. Several ambulances and paramedics responded to the crash site and attended to the victims.

Suspect Arrested After Injured Car Accident in Los Angeles

Meanwhile, officials mentioned the suspect fled the scene. On Sunday, police arrested Steven Weems for felony hit-and-run.

Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
