Steven Gregory Wilson Jr., 25, Badly Hurt After Traffic Collision on South Sixth Street Monday
Taft, CA (February 23, 2021) – 25-year-old Steven Gregory Wilson Jr. suffered injuries following a motorcycle accident on South Sixth Street Monday afternoon.
According to an article published online by Taft Midway Driller, Steven Wilson was riding a Yamaha Street bike heading south on South Sixth Street. In the area between Oak and Hope, the rider apparently lost control of the motorcycle.
Officials said Steven Wilson hit a street sign. The force from the impact caused the motorcyclist to overturn.
Shortly after the incident, medical personnel arrived at the site and found Steven Wilson and a female passenger ejected from the bike. Responding paramedics reportedly transported Steven Wilson to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Female Passenger Injured in Taft Motorcycle Accident, February 22
Authorities added the woman sustained lesser serious injuries as a result of the wreck. Pending confirmation, the identity of the female patient remained undisclosed.
At this time, investigators handling the case continue to work to determine the exact cause of the motorcycle crash in Taft.
