Stevie Esqueda Killed in Pedestrian Accident Hughes and Michigan Avenues

Fresno Man Identified in Fatal Pedestrian Accident

Fresno, CA (March 4, 2025) — Stevie Esqueda, 30, of Fresno, was struck and killed last Thursday in a pedestrian accident at Hughes and Michigan avenues.

It happened around 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 27th, according to the Fresno County Coroner’s Office.

The victim identified as Stevie Esqueda was found lying in the roadway and was quickly rushed to the hospital, but he was later pronounced dead.

The driver of the SUV stopped and cooperated with the investigation, but there were no arrests made.

Meanwhile, the Fresno Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances and will determine fault.

Authorities are asking witnesses to come forward to help them with the case.
