Stevinson crash 3rd Avenue Edminster
1 Seriously Injured in Stevinson Crash at 3rd Avenue and Edminster Road
STEVINSON, CA (October 10, 2021) – At least one was seriously injured after a car crash at 3rd Avenue and Edminster Road in Stevinson.
The California Highway Patrol dispatch team said the wreck took place on Sunday afternoon. Officers reported the accident at about 1:49 p.m.
According to CHP, two vehicles collided in the Stevinson area of Merced County. They crashed for an unknown reason at the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Edminster Road.
2 Vehicles Collide
The incident log described the cars as a white Dodge Caravan and a white Chevrolet truck. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Highway 140.
Medical personnel found one person who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. They then took the wounded party to a hospital for treatment.
Officials did not disclose the name of the patient and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, CHP forced the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Edminster Road to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Stevinson crash is still under investigation.
