Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Stirling City Crash Retson and China Point Roads
BUTTE COUNTY, CA (August 25, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash at Retson Road and China Point Road in Stirling City.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident occurred on Wednesday evening. Officers reported the wreck at about 6:22 p.m.
CHP said a Toyota 4Runner and the rider of a dirt bike collided for an unknown reason in the Stirling City area of Butte County. The two crashed at the intersection of Retson and China Point roads.
Motorcycle and Car Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near the Harry A Merlo Foundation Inc. They found the motorcyclist who sustained major injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel then took the patient to a hospital for treatment of a possible broken ankle. Officials did not disclose the name of the wounded party and their condition at the moment.
Meanwhile, CHP did not mention if the driver of the SUV ended up hurt or if they stopped following the wreck. Officers forced the area of Retson and China Point roads to shut down after the collision.
The cause of the Stirling City crash is still under investigation.
