STOCKTON, California (March 9, 2017) – A bicyclist was critically injured in a suspected hit-and-run crash near Lincoln and Sonora streets Wednesday afternoon, according to Fox 40 News.
The accident took place about 12:40 p.m.
As per the article, Stockton police said a bicycle rider was struck by a driver who did not stop to render aid and fled the scene. The cyclist was then immediately taken to the hospital and was listed in critical condition.
The name of the victim has not been yet released.
Meanwhile, police described the suspect car as a light-colored Hyundai sedan and its motorist as a man with tattoos on his face. The suspect was seen driving south on Lincoln Street after hitting the bicyclist.
