Major Injury Collision on West Side (5) Freeway Saturday
Stockton, CA (May 22, 2021) – A car accident that occurred on Interstate 5, also known as West Side Freeway, resulted in injuries, the California Highway Patrol group reported.
On Saturday, at about 10:20 p.m., CHP logged a traffic collision involving a vehicle that slammed into the center median.
First responders found the grey Honda Fit disabled in the southbound side of the freeway; near the Country Club Boulevard onramp.
At Least 1 Badly Hurt in Stockton Car Accident, May 22
Medical personnel reportedly rendered aid to all possible victims, including a man lying on the road. After the evaluation, authorities confirmed the crash left one or more parties with major injuries. Additional details on the victims have not been discussed thus far.
At this time, investigators continue to work to determine the precise cause of the car accident on Interstate 5 in Stockton.
