2 Injured in Stockton Crash at Charter Way and Tillie Lewis Drive
STOCKTON, CA (July 22, 2022) – Two were hospitalized after a car crash at Charter Way and Tillie Lewis Drive in Stockton.
According to an article published by The Record, the accident took place on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 4:30 p.m.
The incident happened on July 21 when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Stockton. They crashed at the intersection of Charter Way and Tillie Lewis Drive.
The California Highway Patrol described the cars as a silver Acura sedan and a black Honda Civic. The Acura rolled over and came to a rest on its roof off the westbound lane of Charter.
2 Cars Collide
The Honda lost its wheel and its driver’s side ended up crushed due to the impact of the collision. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene.
A man sustained major injuries while a woman obtained minor injuries as a result of the incident. Medical personnel rushed both patients to the San Joaquin General Hospital for treatment.
The report did not release the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, the cause of the Stockton crash is still under investigation.
Officers forced the area of Charter and Tillie Lewis to shut down following the wreck.
