Driver Trapped in Vehicle on Railroad Tracks
STOCKTON, Calif. (May 3, 2024) — A major injury Stockton crash happened Friday afternoon at McKinley Avenue and Industrial Drive.
The two-vehicle collision occurred at around 2:37 p.m. on May 3rd, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials reported the drivers of a white pickup truck and a blue Chevrolet Tahoe SUV towing a U-Haul trailer were involved. One person became trapped in the SUV on the railroad tracks and required extrication.
Paramedics responded and rushed the injured person to a hospital for treatment of undisclosed major injuries, the report said.
Investigators are working to determine fault for the Stockton crash on McKinley Avenue.
