Fiery 2-Vehicle Crash in Stockton on the I-5 Freeway
STOCKTON, Calif. (May 27, 2021) — A Stockton crash happened on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway Thursday morning near Highway 4.
The collision happened about 8 a.m. on May 27th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Indeed, a gold Toyota SUV overturned onto its side and caught on fire upon impact.
Truck Driver Helps Put Out Fire
The driver in the box truck had a fire extinguisher and attempted to put out the fire, police said.
Meanwhile, multiple other vehicles stopped to assist the drivers involved in the Stockton crash on the I-5. Police issued a SigAlert due to the roadway being blocked by vehicles.
At least one person suffered minor injuries and a call was placed to 911 for an ambulance.
Furthermore, investigators are working on the case to establish liability for the Stockton crash on the 5 Freeway.
