Man Killed in Stockton DUI Hit-and-Run at Harding and Lincoln
STOCKTON (December 21, 2018) – A pedestrian was killed after an alleged DUI hit-and-run accident in the area of Harding Way and Lincoln Street Thursday night, according to Record Net.
The collision took place on December 20 at about 9:03 p.m.
As per the article, police determined that a Latino male pedestrian was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of West Harding Way and Lincoln Street.
Paramedics responded to the scene and found the man left lying in the roadway and suffering from serious injuries. He was immediately taken to San Joaquin General Hospital where he later died.

The name of the deceased victim has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police affirmed that the driver involved did not stop to render aid and fled right after hitting the man. The motorist was believed to have been driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the time of the deadly incident.
The suspect, 42-year-old Richard Chavez, was found and ultimately arrested on suspicion of felony hit-and-run, felony DUI and resisting arrest.
