At Least 1 Killed in Big Rig Collision on SR-88 at 8th Mile Road Monday
Stockton, CA (April 26, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol group reported a fatal accident that occurred on State Route 88 Monday afternoon.
According to the CHP dispatch, the wreck involved a big rig and a white pickup truck pulling a trailer. The horrible incident took place in the eastbound side of Highway 88 at 8th Mile Road.
First responders found at the scene the Ford F550 slammed into the rear of the semi truck. The precise circumstances that led to the unfortunate event have not been discussed thus far.

Medical personnel arrived at the location shortly after 4:40 p.m. Paramedics rendered aid to all possible victims, and later confirmed one person sadly died as a result of the collision. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Investigators handling the case continue to work at this time to determine the precise cause of the fatal car and truck accident in Stockton.
