1 Killed, Several Injured in Stockton Crash at Pershing and Venetian
STOCKTON, CA (September 4, 2022) – A crash killed one person and injured several others at Pershing Avenue and Venetian Drive in Stockton.
According to the FOX 40 News and ABC 10 News, the tragic accident took place on Sunday morning. Officers reported the wreck at around 10 a.m.
Stockton police said the incident happened when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in the city. The cars crashed at the intersection of Pershing Avenue and Venetian Drive.
2 Vehicles Collide
Paramedics arrived at the scene and rushed one driver to a hospital, where the patient soon died. Several other people ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel took them to local hospitals for treatment of unspecified injuries. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, police forced the area of Pershing and Venetian to shut down for a time following the wreck. The cause of the fatal Stockton crash is still under investigation.
