1 Killed, 1 Injured in Stockton Crash on Rose Marie Lane Thursday
STOCKTON, CA (April 10, 2021) – A car crash killed one person and injured another along Rose Marie Lane in Stockton.
According to an article published by the CBS Sacramento, the tragic accident occurred on Thursday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 3 p.m.
The incident happened on April 8 when a vehicle was going west on Rose Marie Lane in Stockton. At the same time, another car was pulling out of a parking lot in the area.
2-Car Collision Near Stockton Parking Lot
Police said two then collided. Firefighters along with the paramedics soon responded to the scene and found both drivers hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel rushed them to the hospital for treatment. Police affirmed that the motorist who pulled out in front of the other vehicle, a 59-year-old woman, later died.
The second patient remained hospitalized in an unknown condition. The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released.
Meanwhile, officials forced Rose Marie Lane to shut down for a time following the crash. The cause of the fatal Stockton collision is still under investigation.
