1 Killed, 2 Seriously Injured in Stockton Crash at El Dorado and Ivy
STOCKTON, CA (June 27, 2021) – A car crash killed one person and injured another at El Dorado Street and Ivy Avenue in Stockton.
According to the KCRA News and FOX 40 News, the tragic accident took place on Saturday night. Officers reported the wreck at about 8:15 p.m.
Stockton police said the incident happened on June 26 when two vehicles collided for an unknown reason. They crashed at the intersection of El Dorado Street and Ivy Avenue.
2 Vehicles Collide in Stockton
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene in the Seaport District. They rushed a male driver involved to a hospital, where he later died.
Police affirmed that two other people sustained major injuries as a result of the collision. Medical personnel transported them for treatment.
The names of the deceased and wounded parties have not been yet released. Meanwhile, officials forced the area of El Dorado Street and Ivy to shut down for a time following the wreck.
The cause of the fatal Stockton crash is still under investigation.
