Pedestrian Killed in Stockton Crash Near Pacific and Monterey Avenues
STOCKTON, CA (October 7, 2022) – A crash killed a pedestrian near Pacific Avenue and Monterey Avenue in Stockton.
According to an article published by the FOX 40 News, the tragic accident took place on Thursday night. Officers reported the collision at around 8 p.m.
The incident happened on October 6 when a vehicle struck a male pedestrian for an unknown reason in the city of Stockton. The driver hit him near the intersection of Pacific and Monterey avenues.
Victim Hit by Vehicle
Firefighters along with the paramedics arrived at the scene and then found the victim down on the ground. He sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel soon pronounced the patient dead. The name of the deceased party has not been yet released pending notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, police did not mention if the motorist stopped or stayed at the site following the incident. Officers forced the area of Pacific and Monterey avenues to shut down for a time after the accident.
The cause of the fatal Stockton pedestrian crash is still under investigation.
