Pedestrian Killed in Hit-and-run Stockton Crash
Stockton, California (February 13, 2019) – A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash involving multiple vehicles Tuesday night on the Interstate 5 Freeway near Pershing Avenue in Stockton.
The fatal pedestrian accident was reported to police about 11:30 p.m. in the No. 3 lane.
The pedestrian was crossing the freeway when they were struck by the first vehicle and they were thrown into the path of multiple vehicles in traffic lanes. The drivers kept going and none of them stopped.
The unidentified pedestrian died at the scene of the accident and has not yet been identified by the San Joaquin County Coroner’s Office.
