Woman, 18, Killed in Stockton Hit-and-Run on North California Street
STOCKTON (December 21, 2018) – A pedestrian was killed after an alleged hit-and-run accident along California Street on Thursday night, according to Record Net and KCRA.
The collision took place on December 20 at about 9:30 p.m. near the intersection of Walnut Street.
As per the reports, Stockton police said an 18-year-old woman was crossing North California Street when for an unknown reason she was struck by vehicle.
The car was traveling south on California Street when it hit the victim.

Paramedics responded to the scene and found the pedestrian left lying in the roadway with severe injuries. She was then transported to San Joaquin General Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Her name has not been yet released pending notification of family.
Meanwhile, the driver involved did not stop after the crash and continued southbound without rendering aid to the woman. The suspect car was described as a blue or black Chevy Suburban or Blazer.
