Stockton Firetruck and Car Crash Pershing Avenue March Lane

2 Injured in Stockton Crash at Pershing Avenue and West March Lane

STOCKTON, CA (August 2, 2021) – Two were hospitalized after a firetruck and a car crash at Pershing Avenue and March Lane in Stockton.

According to the FOX 40 News and CBS San Francisco, the accident took place early Monday. Officers reported the wreck shortly after 2 a.m.

A Stockton Fire Department truck responding to a structure fire and a car collided for an unknown reason. The two crashed at the intersection of Pershing Avenue and West March Lane.

Firetruck and Car Collide

The fire truck continued through the intersection and then slammed into a building. The tiller cab ended up damaged, injuring one firefighter inside.

Paramedics took that fire official and the driver of the car to a hospital for treatment. The firefighter sustained a broken femur and bruised spleen as a result of the collision.

Officers did not disclose the names of the wounded parties and their condition at this time. Meanwhile, officials forced the area of Pershing Avenue and March Lane to shut down following the wreck.

The cause of the Stockton crash is still under investigation.
