1 Injured in Stockton Hit-and-Run Crash at Waterloo Road and Filbert Street
STOCKTON, CA (September 17, 2021) – At least one was injured after a hit-and-run crash at Waterloo Road and Filbert Street in Stockton.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team, the accident took place on Friday afternoon. Officers reported the wreck at about 2:05 p.m.
CHP said two vehicles collided for an unknown reason in Stockton. They crashed at the intersection of Waterloo Road and North Filbert Street.
The incident log described the two cars as a red Ford Mustang and a gray or black colored Chevrolet pickup truck
2 Cars Collide
Firefighters along with the paramedics soon arrived at the scene near Sierra Lane. They confirmed that one person ended up hurt as a result of the collision.
Medical personnel treated the patient for the unspecified injuries they sustained in the accident. Officials did not release the name of the wounded party and their condition at this time.
Meanwhile, CHP affirmed that the one of the drivers involved did not stop to render aid and then fled the area. Officers forced the intersection of Waterloo and Filbert to shut down following the wreck.
The cause of the Stockton hit-and-run crash is still under investigation.
