Pedestrian Struck Highway 4 in Stockton
STOCKTON, California (April 22, 2021) – A Stockton pedestrian accident happened early Thursday morning on Highway 4 at Union Point.
Also, the car crash happened about 3:24 a.m. on April 22nd near the Union Point Marina Bar & Grill, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A driver reportedly struck the unidentified pedestrian and they wound up in the nearby Middle River. It’s unknown what led up to the collision, but the investigation is ongoing.
Pedestrian Hurt in Stockton Car Accident
The report said a man stood on top of the vehicle after the Stockton pedestrian accident. Also, another man exited the vehicle reportedly smelling like alcohol.
Meanwhile, CHP officials responded with paramedics to treat the seriously injured pedestrian.
The cause of the pedestrian accident and liability are under investigation by the CHP. Furthermore, police did not state if any charges were filed against the driver. Witnesses may reach out to the CHP’s Stockton station.
