Stockton Truck Crash on Filbert Street On-Ramp to Highway 4

STOCKTON, Calif., (August 27, 2026) — Traffic on Highway 4 at the Filbert Street on-ramp was backed up Thursday after a semi-truck and multiple vehicles were involved in a crash in Stockton.

The incident was reported here on August 27th at approximately 2:42 PM when a semi-truck reportedly collided with a white Chevrolet Malibu and at least one other vehicle. The semi-truck was seen overturned on its side, reportedly smoking, and blocking lanes two and three. Debris, including a pallet jack, was scattered across the lanes and shoulder, complicating the situation further.

Emergency responders, including Stockton Fire Department and local towing services, were quick to reach the scene. They worked diligently to manage the situation, with efforts to clear the debris and secure the area for safety. The Filbert on-ramp to eastbound SR4 was temporarily shut down during these operations.
