Street Vendor Injured in Crash on Highway 395 in Hesperia

Street Vendor Injured in Crash on Highway 395 in Hesperia

HESPERIA, Calif. (June 10, 2025) — A driver in a Ford Mustang veered off Highway 395 and crashed into a street vendor’s parked truck Sunday morning at a roadside stand in Hesperia.

The June 8th crash happened in front of the El Rancho Animal Feed Store at Avenal Street, according to Victor Valley News Group.

The Mustang’s driver lost control after attempting to avoid rear-ending another vehicle that suddenly hit the brakes. The car hit a brick wall and iron fence before crashing into the front of a parked red Toyota Tacoma pickup truck. The vendor was behind the truck unloading items for his fruit stand and was injured in the collision.

Paramedics from the San Bernardino County Fire Protection District transported the injured vendor to a hospital due to a leg injury.

Meanwhile, a tow truck removed the Mustang due to heavy front-end damage and the pickup truck with damage to its front passenger side.

It’s unknown if the Mustang driver was hurt, but the person stopped and cooperated with the investigation by the Hesperia Police Department.
