2 Juveniles Hurt in Collision on West Riverside Drive
Silver Lake, CA (June 5, 2023) – Two students suffered injuries following a traffic accident that occurred on West Riverside Drive, the Patch News reported.
Auto vs. School Bus Crash in Silver Lake
On June 5, Monday, a collision between a school bus and a compact car took place near the 2500 block of West Riverside Drive. Officials said the sedan slammed into the back of the school bus occupied by an unknown number students.
Emergency crews later arrived at the scene and immediately checked the conditions of all parties involved in the crash. After the evaluation, paramedics confirmed two students sustained injuries as a result of the collision. It remained unclear whether the victims received medical aid at the site, or transferred to a hospital for further treatment.
Meanwhile, no immediate information was available on the condition of the driver of the car involved in the accident.
Detectives handling the case continue to work at this time to determine the exact cause of the crash that happened on West Riverside Drive in Silver Lake.
