Multi-Vehicle Collisions on 101 Freeway in Studio City Area
STUDIO CITY, Calif. (May 21, 2021) — A series of Studio City car accidents happened Friday morning on the 101 Freeway near Coldwater Canyon Boulevard.
The drivers of a BMW 430, a Toyota Camry, a Kia and a white Honda Civic motorist were involved in separate crashes and blocking the Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Also, the crashes happened about 10:07 a.m. on May 21st, in the westbound lanes, just east of the Coldwater Canyon exit.
Studio City Collision on 101 Freeway
A 911 call to the Los Angeles Fire Department brought paramedics to the crash scene to treat the injured. However, it’s unknown if paramedics took anyone to a hospital.
Meanwhile, police issued a SigAlert for roughly 30 minutes.
Several tow trucks removed vehicles from the accident site.
Finally, the CHP is heading up an investigation into the car accidents to determine fault.
