2-Vehicle Crash on Ventura 101 Freeway

STUDIO CITY, Calif. (April 4, 2024) — A two-vehicle Studio City crash happened Thursday on the Ventura 101 Freeway at Laurel Canyon Boulevard.

The collision occurred on the westbound US 101 at around 6:49 a.m. on April 4th, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officials reported a driver in a black Honda Civic allegedly rear-ended a silver Mercedes Benz in the No. 1 lane of the freeway.

Police requested paramedics respond due to unknown injuries from the accident and they issued a SigAlert for roughly 30 minutes for the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes.

A tow truck came to remove the damaged Mercedes from the freeway.

Meanwhile, police are investigating the Studio City crash on the 101 Freeway to determine fault.
