Pedestrian Transported to Hospital After Being Trapped Under Vehicle
STUDIO CITY, Calif. (Nov. 21, 2023) – A pedestrian sustained serious injuries in a Studio City car accident Monday night on Moorpark Street between Vineland Avenue and the Hollywood 101 Freeway, MyNewsLA reports.
A driver struck the man as he was crossing Moorpark Street at around 7:15 p.m. on Nov. 20th, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The victim was briefly trapped underneath the vehicle and sustained serious injuries, the LAFD reports.
Paramedics and firefighters responded to the 11000 block of Moorpark Street and located the injured man who they rushed to a hospital.
Authorities are working to determine what led up to the collision.
The driver stopped and was cooperating with authorities and the investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department.
