Sukhjot Dhillon and Ranjit Dhillon Fatal Victims in Traffic Collision on Highway 20
Sutter, CA (July 13, 2021) – Sukhjot Singh Dhillon and Ranjit Singh Dhillon died following a car accident that occurred on Highway 20 on July 6, Tuesday.
The Action News Now reported 19-year-old Sukhjot Singh Dhillon was driving a Nissan Titan heading east on the highway in Sutter County. For an unknown reason, a GMC 3500 traveling in the same direction crashed into the rear of the Nissan.
According to the article published online, the force from the impact caused the Nissan to veer into the westbound lanes. The passenger vehicle ended up crashed into a Kenworth big rig.
First responders found the Nissan engulfed in flames.
2 Dead in Sutter County Car Accident, July 6
Shortly after 2:30 p.m., firefighters arrived at the location and put out the fire. Rescue teams extricated both Sukhjot Singh Dhillon and 63-year-old Ranjit Singh Dhillon. Despite life-saving measures, the two men sadly succumbed to their injuries and died at the scene.
No immediate information was available on the other motorists involved in the unfortunate event. Further investigation on the case is ongoing.
