5-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 5 in Sun Valley
SUN VALLEY, Calif. (Sept. 21, 2023) — A Sun Valley crash happened Thursday on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway at Sheldon Street.
The multi-vehicle collision occurred on the southbound I-5 Freeway around 10 a.m. on Sept. 21st, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials say the drivers of a white Tesla Model &, a white Jeep Grand Cherokee, a white Honda Odyssey and two other motorists were involved.
Two of the vehicles were in the HOV lane and at least one person reported minor injuries. Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to help those hurt.
Tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles from the roadway.
Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine fault for the crash on the 5 Freeway.
