Woman Hit and Killed by Vehicle on Golden State (5) Freeway Friday
Sun Valley, CA (August 20, 2021) – A deadly pedestrian accident occurred Friday evening on Interstate 5, also known as Golden State Freeway.
According to My News LA, a vehicle struck an individual in the southbound side of the freeway in Sun Valley. The collision took place near Hollywood (170) Freeway.

Emergency crews arrived at the location shortly ager 7:13 p.m. Responding medical personnel reportedly found the woman with life-threatening injuries. Paramedics performed CPR to the victim, but she sadly succumbed to her injuries and died. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Meanwhile, the article published online indicated the driver involved in the unfortunate event stayed in the area and cooperated with the investigation process.
