At Least 1 Killed in Car Accident Near Sunland Boulevard Saturday
Sun Valley, CA (April 10, 2021) – A deadly car crash occurred Saturday morning on Interstate 5, also known as Golden State Freeway, according to My News LA.
Earlier reports indicted a traffic collision took place in the southbound side of the freeway at Sunland Boulevard. At this time, the exact number of vehicles involved in the incident remained unknown.
Deadly Car Crash in Sun Valley, April 10
A short time after 11:55 a.m., emergency crews arrived at the accident scene. First responders reportedly found one person trapped in the wreckage. Paramedics sadly pronounced the trapped person dead, after firefighters extricated them. The identity of the deceased remained undisclosed pending confirmation and notification of next of kin.
Additional details on the catastrophic incident have not been revealed thus far. At this time, detectives assigned to handle the case continue to investigate how the fatal car crash in Sun Valley happened.
