
Man Riding Bicycle Killed in Sun Valley; Motorist Sought
SUN VALLEY, Calif. (March 17, 2023) – A fatal Sun Valley bicycle accident involving a hit-and-run driver happened early Friday morning on Lankershim Boulevard.
A driver struck a man riding a bicycle around 6:20 a.m. on March 17th, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Paramedics responded and located the injured man in the roadway in the 8400 block of Lankershim Boulevard.
Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene, the LAFD said.
Meanwhile, the motorist involved fled the scene of the fatal bicycle accident on Lankershim Boulevard.
Authorities believe the vehicle was GMC truck or similar vehicle.
Witnesses or anyone with information about the crash should call 877-LAPD-247.
