SUN VALLEY, Los Angeles (March 30, 2017) – A fatal traffic collision took place on Saticoy Street Thursday afternoon, according to NBC Los Angeles.
The accident two motorcycles occurred about 3:19 p.m. near Radford Avenue.
As per the article, Los Angeles Fire and Police Department said one of the two riders swerved and lost control. That person struck a parked car and slammed into a fire hydrant.
ABC 7 News described the two vehicles involved as three-wheeled Polaris Slingshot.
The rider then hit a light pole, causing his bike to roll over, and died at the scene. He was identified as 21-year-old Khachik Boyadzhyan, of North Hollywood.
Meanwhile, the driver of the other motorcycle was unharmed. Authorities are still investigating if the involved parties were racing at the time and if alcohol or speed played a role in the crash.
