SUN VALLEY, California (June 21, 2016) — A motorcyclist was hit by a car Tuesday morning on the southbound Interstate 5 Freeway at North Hollywood Way, a California Highway Patrol report said.
The crash took place about 8:16 a.m. this morning. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene to help the injured rider. Police say the vehicle changed lanes and hit the motorcycle rider causing the bike to flip over at the center divider.
The motorcycle required towing, but the report did not indicate what damage either vehicle suffered in the crash.
Police are investigating and will determine liability.
