Multi-Vehicle Car Accident Highway 237 in Sunnyvale
SUNNYVALE, Calif. (April 19, 2022) — A multi-vehicle Sunnyvale crash on Highway 237 happened Tuesday afternoon near the Mathilda Avenue off ramp.
The 3-vehicle, chain-reaction collision occurred in the westbound lanes about 12:11 p.m. on April 19th, according to the California Highway Patrol.
CHP officials report the drivers of a silver 2019 Mazda CX5 SUV, a black Honda sedan and a silver, 4-door Nissan Versa collided due to unknown circumstances.
Paramedics responded to help those suffering minor to moderate injuries, but there are no specific details.
The Honda suffered major front-end damage in the Sunnyvale crash on Highway 237.
Also, the Nissan had both front and rear damage. Finally, the Mazda had moderate rear-end damage.
Investigators are working on the case and will determine fault.
